I lived in Houston. Now I live in Boerne. I’ll take Boerne over Houston.

So San Antonio (outskirts), Dallas, Houston, then Austin

Why would anyone want to live in Texas?

Illegals, no beaches, no mountains, hot as frick all the time, Mexicans running gangs and crossing illegally. I don’t think I’d even waste a dime on vacationing there.

Elon should have McAllen, El Paso, or Brownsville replace Austin as the next hip city.

TBH, the only city in TX that I would live in is Houston, It's basically half populated with Louisianas anyway. Almost got shipped to Waco once and spent some time in Dallas. Spent way more time in the Midwest.

I love Dallas, lived there from 2012 to 2020 after I graduated. Met my wife, started my career, and had my first kid there. I moved to Lafayette for a lower COLA and to be near my parents but I'm seriously considering eating the higher COL and moving back. Things just work BETTER there. The average person in DFW is more competent than your average Louisiana river rat or hoodrat.

Folks in Amarillo are really nice - I've had to spend a lot of time out there during my travels. Big Texan Steak Ranch FTW.

San Angelo / Tom Green county? I've spent some time in that area. It's been a while though. I rember the liitle communities east fof the city; Veribest, Wall, Eola... A whole lot of nothin out there. But some very nice folks.

yeah. i went to Wall HS. i still love San Angelo. i wouldn't mind ending back there some day, but not while my parents are still around. love them, we just don't do well in the same town.

Grapevine is my personal favorite. Doesn't look like a soulless suburb, right next to the country's second busiest airport, good schools.

Idk but Grapevine looked just like Franklin, Tn to me lol. It’s also the only city next to an airport that’s not shvtty.

I am fans of those towns too. My family is from a town on highway 16.

And it is obvious I was talking about the towns between SA and the DFW area.
