I've sort of fallen into watching these youtube investigations of people accused of violent crimes.
I came upon this one which is more recent and have never seen anything like this. Pretty disgusting and cringy and hilarious even. It is very long, but if you watch the first 3 min and can turn it off..props to you.

Search for Deadbug Says on YouTube. His stuff doesn't always come up because......reasons. You usually have to search his entire name, Deadbug Says.

11:59 Media (a podcast company) has converted his YouTube videos into podcast form. If that would be more convenient for you. The dude doesn't soften anything, and had a voice that definitely isn't Southern. YouTube has shadow banned his channel off and on for a while now. He's a bit more visible now since he kind of went more public with what they were doing to his channel.
11:59 media has other interesting podcasts, too. Dark Topic, True Crime Kent, 911 Calls with the Operator, and a bunch of stuff on their Patreon. I like their stuff.

I've been watching Everything Autos.
It's a guy that owns a tow company and tows illegally parked cars in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Owners are super pissed when they find out.
