So, to be clear - 60%, 27 TDs, and 6 INTs is "good" but not "very good".
I wasn't a Max fan either, by the by.

13 of his 27 TD’s came against:

UCLA - 3 (a PAC 12 defense)
McNeese - 3
Central Michigan - 5
ULM - 2

In conference:
Moo State. - 4
Florida - 3

That means against the gumps, pigs, aubbie, Kentucky, and A & M he had a total of 7 TD’s.

Granted two were against the gumps in a valiant effort (but NOT a good performance overall), and one was a game winner against A & M, but as stated, for the most part...he disappeared against the better competition.

The worst of the lot though:

3/6 for 21 yards in a 13-16 loss against the pigs.

If Joey B never existed, those stats are fantastic by LSU standards.
