Romanticizing. All this is.

Don't miss Metairie, a small town located on Lake Pontchartrain's south shore near New Orleans.
I mean it isn't Houston or Chicago, but far from being called a small town.

Small Town? I have a different definition.

Let's see who can name it without clicking.

Metairie is a small town?

Damn, I thought it was going to be Bawcomville

Metairie is concrete suburbia once you leave the small enclave of old metairie

What a weird place to romanticize. It's not a small town, it's a suburb of New Orleans

It's not really a town at all right?
One of, if not largest unincorporated areas in the country.

Metairie is neither a town (nor city for that matter) nor small, but we're talking about the same Southern Living that published a story about how Biloxi, MS, was famous for their boiled crawfish that were harvested from local rivers like the Tangipahoa and Tickfaw.

Was expecting it to be about Hammond.

They also spelled Metry wrong.

Guess Jonestown, Mississippi will have to wait another year.

Is this the same magazine that named Ellick one of the most romantic cities in the South?

Good ole Metry. Where Target needs police watch towers. The only reason to visit is Bud's Broiler.

Metry is neither small nor a town.
