If we're being honest the parallels between Saban to Bama with LSU fans and Kelly to LSU with ND fans is all pretty similar.
There's going to be saltiness there, only ND doesnt play LSU every year.

ND is way more consumed with LSU than us with them. They invited our recently fired, inept old HC for a week for Christs sake I seriously have thought very little about ND since the hire, we have way too many other teams to worry about.

I'm not talking about everything being equal,. I'm talking about the saltiness of the fanbase/program as a result. We were all pissed Saban went to Bama and with the success he's had there we'll remain salty as get out as well
ND fans are pissed they lost one of the best coaches in their history to what they view as "some southern school" that doesnt have the prestige or lore ND has. They're still blindsided by this much like we were all blindsided when Saban dumped the NFL after 2 years because things weren't easy and came back to college at a school we hate. The reason might be slightly different but the parallels to hate the other school exist because of the coach that went there.
