So the events of Kenobi take place roughly 10 years after episode III. With that being said Rebels takes place roughly 14 years after. I'm wondering if we will get any Thrawn action or are they saving that for Ahsoka?

Seeing as the Chiss's plan was for him to invade the Empire to see if they would be a viable ally, after his "exile" following the clone wars he was pretty much immediately with the Empire.

It looks like it might be all about the Inquisitors though.

I guess it depends on how much they have Kenobi leave Tatooine.

Remember Kenobi is on Tatooine to watch over Luke from afar.

I know; he's still keeping an eye on Luke.
So I doubt Thrawn would play much of a part anyway.

As for Ahsoka, that would be interesting as the live action Ahsoka is from many years after Luke was a child. You'd almost have to get a different actress to play her.

Correct, but the new screen shot of the show has him on a different planet than Tatooine. I just want Thrawn live action.

Patience young Padawan

With the way Rebels ended, I cannot see a live action Ahsoka without Thrawn and Sabine Ren. Ezra should return just based off the logo

I really hope so...Such a good character. I'm slowly convincing all my fellow star wars friends to watch Rebels and Clone Wars. No one has been disappointed yet.

I hope we eventually get a story on what happened with Ezra and Thrawn after they make the jump to deep space.

I am with you.

Her entire backstory in Season 2 Mando was a search for Thrawn. She moved the story along with Grogu and Luke, but that arc is complete now with Book of Boba.

Rebels ended with Sabine joining her to find Ezra. Dave and Jon would be screwing us over if that was not the driving narrative of Ahsoka. She basically has been gone for 14 years - 5 BBY (Rebels) - 9 ABY (Book of Fett). We pretty much have those years covered, so let the search for Thrawn resume!!!

If I were to start REbels and Clone Wars is there one I should start before the other? Does it matter?

I just hope they include Maul again at some point.

Id love to see him fricking some Inquisitors up while running his terrorist organization while looking for Kenobi to settle scores

It's Disney? He'll be sidelined by some female, who'll be the key to everything, and then told why everything he does is wrong.

I doubt we see Thrawn but hopefully see the final showdown of Kenobi and Darth Maul live action version of the Rebels version.

Kenobi series would be about 18-20 years prior to The Mandalorian. They used CGI to age Mark Hamill down by 40-45 years. I think they can age down Rosario Dawson by 20 years if Ahsoka is going to appear in the series

They have already cast Sabine. Not sure about Thrawn or Ezra, but Sabine will be in it for sure.

I hope they use the same actor who did the voice portion of Thrawn for Rebels. He looks like he would be a great live action thrawn.

I would say not really. They have some minor connections but separate stories all together. I would start Clone Wars first only because it's longer and better IMO.

If you've seen all the main movies you know what's going on in both so pick your poison.

If they do this I hope they don't change it. It was perfect how it was in all it's glory.

Start with The Clone Wars. There things and characters in Rebels that are made better by having an understanding of where they come from in The Clone Wars.

When watching TCW, you have two choices of viewing, release order or timeline chronological order. The episodes were not released in a straight timeline (Rebels was, so it isnt an issue there).

This is the official chronological order:
The Clone Wars

TCW is structured in multiple episode arcs per story, each arc focusing on different groups of characters with the overall story of what is happening between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Rebels is one group of characters and their story. Each episode builds the overall story (even if you may not think so at the time).
