All of the places I checked are not open on Saturdays. Looking for a nice place while in town next weekend. Thanks for your suggestions.

not sure if you've been lately, but it's gone to shite. Went with my parents a month or so ago and we were appalled.

I haven't been in a couple of years. What's wrong with the place?

Second this! Stopped to eat lunch on my way back from NOLA to H-town. Enjoyed the chargrilled oysters and The Landry po'boy with crawfish, shrimp and gulf oysters. It was outstanding! Additionally, they had Ghost in the Machine on tap!

What do you mean by "nice"?

I would go to Johnson's or Pop's Poboys, but both of those are casual counter service places.

Spoonbill is also good, and has table service but is still casual.

Social is probably the "nicest" place that is open for lunch on Saturday.
