We’re weak at WR, OT, OG, TE, LB, Safety, and we have good starters but not much depth at DT.

We desperately need an injection of talent from the draft. Otherwise, this could easily turn into a really long year for the Saints. Failed draft choices and unnecessary trades in previous drafts are starting to take a toll on the roster.

I actually like our LB's. Probably need 1 more guy, but I like our LB's more than most people.

Davis, Werner, & Kaden Elliss is much better than it looks on paper. Elliss is a legit beast against the run.

Can't argue with WR, OT, OG.

I think TE & Safety are more of a question mark. I could see both working out & also both ending up being a weakness.

You forgot the most glaring need: QB.

I don't think QB is much of a need at all. I'm at the point where I'd be mad if we actually drafted one.

You people say the same shite every year and every year we are competing for division/playoff spot at the end. If Jameis plays well and the defense is decent we will be fine. Not saying we will win the super bowl, but we will be competing for the playoffs at the end of the season

We need an OT, but we’re serviceable at that spot. We’re strong up the middle at G and C, so disagree there. We need a FS because I don’t want to strictly depend on PJ on the back end but we have so many hybrid guys, our secondary is pretty solid regardless, I actually like our LBs because we will mainly be in 2 LB looks, and I agree with the rest.

-WR
-LT of the future (I want Ram to stay at RT)
-DT to pair with Onyemata
- Cheap RB to take pressure off AK
-Flex SS/ WLB guy

Is how I would rank needs

Do you have no concept of other teams' rosters?

Imagine assuming that the roster stays just as good every year and being oblivious to everything. We lost both starters from last year in Malcolm Jenkins and Marcus Williams. It’s reasonable to think that we could be weak there this year.

It’s nowhere near the problem of other positions, but what is your logic here?

Lost both starters, including one who was top 5 at his position.

Signed one safety who was horrendous last year and wasn’t even kept by one of the worst teams in the league with tons of cap space.
Signed another safety who his team’s fans were literally cheering for him to leave to a vet min contract.
Signed another guy we’ve had for 7 years and has never been above replacement level.

It might turn out OK but how in the world can you be confident the Saints aren’t weak there?

We are closer to a SB roster talent than not having a SB caliber roster.
