There’s a pretty simple solution to that feeling, should you choose it.

Louisiana sucks, but you would have the sads if you were going back to Malibu. Nobody likes coming home from vacation.

Do you live here? If so, then why? Just curious seeing as how you hate it so much.

It’s the stretch of interstate from Slidell to Hammond. Northshore drivers are the worst in the world.

The worst for me was when my friends and I went to San Diego where everything was so clean and beautiful, we landed back to the Baton Rouge airport and see all the plants and run down scenery lol.

Should try and move to the Pensacola/Ft Walton area if possible. Only 4 hrs or so from family in BR.

Flying into BTR you always get such a nice view of Scotlandville and the EBRPP

I hope to move away to a better place sooner than later

Yeah, that’s what it is. LOLOLOL!!!
My kids ask me why there are so many lawyer billboards. I tell them that legal settlements and income tax refunds are the two primary sources of income for most residents.

While I somewhat agree, I do love my neighborhood and I love my home.

I think it’s true like the other poster said, I hate that stretch of Slidell to Hammond with a passion. I’m back home in the Bluebonnet area and I feel better.

It's especially upsetting if you're in New Orleans and you get off the I-10 at Claiborne after a vacation and just see the depressing scene.
