Op-Ed: Why the Liberal Media Is Erasing Black Identity Extremism

Excellent article

quote:
The police arrested a suspect in a New York City subway shooting that left 23 people injured, 10 with severe gunshot wounds. The suspect, Frank James, is a 62 year old African American male who posted prolifically on social media and hosted a YouTube channel where he expressed Black Nationalist leanings and racial grievances.
But you wouldn't know this if you got your news from corporate liberal media. Not only did they fail to cover the trail of hate James left on social media, but many hesitated to refer to him as Black at all, even while an active manhunt was underway for the would-be mass murderer.
And this despite an overall obsession with racial extremism from those same corners. The Biden Administration's "war on domestic terror" announcement designated White Nationalism as the most ubiquitous threat to U.S. national security last year. Compare that with a headline from The Intercept last year: "The Strange Tale of the FBI's Fictional 'Black Identity Extremism' Movement," which made the argument that Black identity extremism like Black nationalism is a racialized myth.
For the liberal establishment, extremism and terror are now a function of your skin color.
It's no accident that the liberal establishment is willing to racialize extremism when it comes white Americans but downplays the same extremism that motivates acts of terror within minority communities. In the affluent liberal waters that New York Times and NPR consumers swim in, to be white is to be inherently guilty, while to be a person of color is to be innocent by virtue of your victimized status. Black Nationalism inverts the foundation of 21st century American liberalism.

She is the epitome of what the establishment fears, a minority who is articulate and thinks independently.

A new face for white supremacy. Don’t believe your lying eyes.

Why is “black” always capitalized in these stories?
How can there ever be “equity” when 1 race is constantly being pandered to?

the hell does someone's minority status have to do with their education/intellect?

Welp, it was nice knowing her: she is going to be canceled.

To differentiate from “dark skinned” in other stories, I suppose.

I don’t get the nationalism piece. He’s not a nationalist, hence the lone wolf attack.

The point isn’t that there are intelligent minorities, but the fact so few call bullshite on parts of the narrative. Of the few that do, are called uncle toms and worse.
To solve any problem you must have an honest evaluation of the facts. At least she is pointing out some of the lies.

Because it's impossible for black people to be racist. Our society has built up an extremely evil foundation concerning the image of black people. The image they've created is basically that of an animal that doesn't have the capacity of deeper or complex thoughts. Like a dog. If a dog bites a human, the dog will get punished, but there will be no conversations about the mindset and thoughts of the dog.
Humans can be racist. They can be peaceful. They can be warmongers. They can be kind. They can be violent. They can be every negative or positive thing under the sun. Once you start speaking in absolutism, about how it's impossible for a human to be this or that strictly based on skintone.. you are downgrading them from human, to animal.

Wasn't there an SUV that ran down whites at a Christmas parade?
Didn't a black man walk up to a white five-year-old and shoot him in the head?
Didnt' 4 black teens kill a white girl of seventeen, Veronica Lee Baker, for no plausible reason?
Didn't a black man, Emanuel Deshaun Aranda, throw a white child of five from a rooftop café for no reason?
or, is this just all my imagination running away with me?

They have been covering up the inner city black on black violence for years. We just had another child killed in BR and not even a boo from BLM.
It’s all about the narrative.

Equality=equal opportunity
Radicals use/say 'equity'.
Free people use/say/promote 'equality'.
The perpetual pandering to blacks is for the panderers insistence on equal outcomes which is an impossibility in a free world.
Beware. This word difference is a HUGE part of what the communist/Democrats are trying to use to destroy the USA. Become familiar with the difference.

Communism counts on stoking class warfare. In the U.S. that was a tough job because no one had royal titles and such and it wasn't a caste society.
So race became a convenient substitute for class and they've been hard at it ever since.
