The stale cigarette smell that comes with every box of hot glazed is iconic.
If you showed up to morning homeroom/advising with a box at St. Paul's you a real one for sure.
That being said maybe this will allow them to reverse that awful new black paint aesthetic they went with. Don't mess with a classic.

The wife told me about this but didn't have details. How the hell does the roof just cave in unless there was a massive water leak?

Termites holding hands have held that roof together for some time now!

Do they own the building? Hopefully they can rebuild.

Nothing like Krispy Kreme-
those ones you see come fresh out and melt in your mouth.

I can't stand wet donuts and Butterkrisp glazed are the bomb. The icing is actually dry and will lightly flake when you take a bite. Best donut around still. They should rebuild if the owners aren't cheapskates. They rake it in there. I thought Al Copeland's brother still owned it.

How do they compare to Mr. Ronnie's Donuts in Houma?

frick Donut King and their IRS screwing (aka taxpayer, me) cash-only scamming with Christian music on top.
Kazoku > TCBY > ChineseChickenPlace > Donut King unless I gotta go to Pelican Park early on weekends.

Damn those donuts look amazing.
When they reopen I am going to try this place.

There’s literally nothing worth going to in Mandeville, nothing.

I have yet to see a rat foot print in my donut.
A relative of Al owned it but sold in the last year but mostly the same folks inside. Drive and don’t look too close, the donuts are spectacular.
If you eat inside there are definitely less flies than an average waffle house

I also live in Mandeville and agree. Donut King is much better.
