High Nitrogen level, look for a 24-0-6 ratio.

I'm about to spread Scott's Green Max in my Bermuda lawn in North Central Texas. It's 27-0-2 and recommended by my buddy who runs a lawn business.

It has 28-0-3 in Scotts Bonus S Weed and Feed. It will do fine and also take out the weeds. The 28 is the Nitrogen content. Zero is Phosphorus and 3 is Potassium.

To respond to the downvote…….what’s the weed portion of weed and feed? Can that chemical be put down as grass transitions from dormancy to growing? At what rate should that herbicide be applied? Is there a temperature restriction? Does the herbicide target whatever you have in your lawn? How do you get the required % of N for your grass type to match up with required level of herbicide to kill the weeds?

Scotts is a fantastic marketing company. Home Depot will sell you bags of shite your lawn doesn’t need well past the application date.

Separate your weed from your feed. There’s about 20-30 posters here that know their shite. None will recommend weed and feed.

Damn that stuff is not cheap but I was looking for a good fertilizer for my St. Aug, when is the latest you can spread the Lesco out? I was thinking about applying some Metsulfuron Methyl because I have some dollerweed and a few other weeds in my front yard mainly but I don't know if it's too late to spray that or if I should just go ahead and lay out the fertilizer.

For St. Aug, I would buy the cheapest thing with high nitrogen content. Tho don’t really care about seeds, and now is not the time to focus on roots,,,,,it’s show time!

Get hooked up with a Simplot dealer. 25-5-10 on my Bermuda. 50 percent fast release/ 50 percent slow release. It feeds for about 6 weeks
