Ads for this have been dominating my social media. I can't open Instagram without a clip being in the first ten items on my feed.

Exactly what I thought of when I watched the trailer. Valhalla Rising is one of the worst films I've ever seen.. And I actually kind of admire Winding-Refn as a director.

Nothing in that trailer looked like Valhalla Rising. Nothing Eggers has made has any similarity to anything Refn has made. You could call 3 things Refn has done "weird". That's as close as they get so far.

Lighthouse was trippy as shite but an interesting movie, The Witch is one of my favorite movies of the last few years. will be there opening dy.

1) Alexander Sarsgard (sp?) got swole. I generally like him in just about everything he's in, starting with Generation Kill.
2) Nicole Kidman's face also got swole, and won't move. Instant turn off when she's a part of it. She's been hard to watch in her last few outings. Wanna age gracefully? See Elizabeth Shoe. Or Marissa Tomei. Or Susanna Hoffs.
3) Queen's Gambit chick. I'm in. She's just unconventional enough to be HOT AF.
4) Vikings have taken over the Zombie genre as the most over extended TV/Movie/Gaming theme.
5) Having said all of that, I'm probably in.
