There won't be 4 QBs to start fall camp even if it's "understood" the battle will continue then.

This is a 99 percent probability.

Not if we’re winning with one. Kelly isn’t Dan Mullen. Dan Mullen would play two to the detriment of the team.

Btw, when the coaches say “into fall” they’re talking about the summer training camp or pre season practices. Not necessarily the season itself

That is not shocking but I would have liked the battle to end in spring. We wouldn't have gotten Joe Burrow if the battle with Dwyane Haskins went into the fall.

So you would prefer if one of our QBs left and went on to be extremely successful?

Almost every school in the country hasn't decided on a starting qb in spring practice

Sounds like the choices aren't good enough, in the coaches eyes, for one to stand out and take the job.

Something tells me the battle will continue past the summer. Probably into the season.

They want to grow these guys slow.

Not sure that’s going to be ok with a 6th year senior like Brennan. And I doubt he waits that long given this is his last shot. If this goes into the summer, I’m not sure I see him sticking around to find out

Yeah I agree unfortunately. I hope we keep all of them. But they still have to do what’s best for the team. Or what they think is best for the team. That may be a two qb system or letting the battle continue to see how these guys do in a real game. Or how they do operating the full offense. Anything else is beyond their control. I certainly don’t want a guy starting who they think does not give us a better chance to win immediately. It’s not like we’re starving for QBs anyway.

If Daniels doesn't impress I can see all 4 QB's being here since he can't transfer.

I’m pretty sure Jayden can transfer. I don’t know if there are transfer rules anymore lol. Look at JT Daniels.

However, it’s unlikely he would transfer until he’s completed at least one year. If he even could transfer in 2022. I don’t know the rules anymore.

He can leave for fall ball if he feels like he's not going to start here. If they named Daniels starter now he wouldn't be on the roster come fall. That dents your depth with 2 guys behind Daniels with basically no experience and judging by Nuss last year he needs years of development.

You don't name a starter until day 1 of the season so you keep the depth. Not hard to understand. Of course, this is assuming Brennan doesn't just up and leave anyway if nobody is named a starter come summer.
