You are obviously only using recruiting rankings and running ability to judge talent. Based on those criteria, he's not more talented than Russell Shepard.

Why do people still think Burrow isn’t physically talented? Lmfaooo

He’s got a NFL level arm, precise accuracy, tough as nails and enough speed to outrun NFL defenders for 10-15 yards. We saw Burrow run over defenders while playing for us. He’s not physically talented? Lmao. Just say he’s white. Because that’s what you meant.

Joe put up perhaps the greatest year a college quarterback has ever had in his last season here. The talent and leader ship he displayed that season might never be seen again here again at LSU.

Having said that, I surely hope everything you say about Daniels turns out to be true.

Are you stupid? The dude is transferring to SEC ball. This is big boys league. If you think he's just going to come over here and immediately be an all-american QB or if he thinks he's coming over here to be a 1 and done prepare to be humbled quickly.

He couldn't even dominate a shite conference and you think he's going roll over the Bama, Georgia, etc. in the conference? He was barely even average at times in his own conference. I don't deny his gifts and talent but he has a long way to go. You need to calm your expectations buddy. Even if he put it together fast chemistry, new culture, new offense, etc. has to come together itself too. That stuff takes time.

If you are just measuring tools, is he more talented than Russell Shepard, Brandon Harris or TJ Finley?

I am not even sure that Jayden has more "tools" than Danny Etling. Certainly not more than any of the people you mentioned or Jordan Jefferson.

Look at the schedule he played against as a freshman
Kent state
Sacramento state
Michigan state
Colorado
Cal
Washington state
Utah
Ucla
Usc
Oregon state
Oregon
Arizona
Florida state(bowl)
I think there strength of schedule was in the 60s in 2019
To throw 17 tds against that schedule is not impressive
Especially when we just watched max johnson throw for 27 with a strength of schedule in the top 10

I'm rooting for whoever plays QB for LSU, but you're really missing the target on this kid. I like his mobility upside, but he is not a great passer, especially not an All-American level. This has been reported out of LSU’s camp and this has been his M.O. all of college. For every highlight throw he had at ASU he had some unexplainable misses on easy short throws. I don’t care about his stats, go watch full games with him and tell me he’s an All-American level passer of the football.

Again, rooting for the kid and whoever is our QB, but pump the brakes.

Are you too young to have seen Johnny Manziel?
I don't know if Daniels is that elusive, but Saban's defenses could not contain Manziel.

Daniels is faster sure. Burrow is a bigger QB, more arm strength, better accuracy, and probably has better pocket mobility. What part of Daniels is more physically talented than Burrow? Other than pure down field speed.

Joe is basically a small linebacker, who runs a 4.6/4.7.

I can’t believe how many people doubt this guys ability to win the job. He arrived two days before spring practice and people here expect him to already have timing down and know the playbook.

When it all shakes out he will be too talented to keep off the feild. Check his HS ranking. He literally started game 1 as a true freshman and excelled at Arizona State.

He was basically just short of being a five star recruit.

Top 50 on espn, Top 100 on rivals, and ranked around 33rd or so on 247.

Legit high ranking recruit/transfer.

The best player in the big bad SEC was A 5-11 195 pound QB from Southern California. How many games did he miss due to injury? Ohio State set rose bowl records with there QB from Southern California. Ole Miss wiped the floor with LSU last year with a 6 foot 200 pound QB from California. I’m excited to see what we do with our QB from California. TheQB’s from California are just different. ??
