I can’t believe how many people doubt this guys ability to win the job. He arrived two days before spring practice and people here expect him to already have timing down and know the playbook.

When it all shakes out he will be too talented to keep off the feild. Check his HS ranking. He literally started game 1 as a true freshman and excelled at Arizona State.

I keep seeing people talk about him being a goalline QB or gadget Player. Hes by far the most talented QB we’ve had on campus since Ryan Perrilloux.

I know most of you guys only watch SEC football but seldom do you guys give anyone credit besides nick saban. This QB is in the same category as Bryce Young and CJ Stroud. They got there chance to be coached up now it’s jaydens turn. Mind you neither of those guys started as true freshman. Your talking about a guy that runs a 4.4 and has lead a team to multiple bowl games. Put some respect on his name. No disrespect to Myles but what has he done. All those stats came in losses against terrible teams. Miss st Vandy and Mizzou. You guys can’t be serious.

Lmaooooo. You do realize we had Joe Burrow just a couple seasons ago correct? Ya know, the guy who had the greatest single season in CFB history, won a heisman, won a SEC title and natty, and went #1.

I don’t doubt Daniels. But it’s hard to take your post seriously, when you are making claims like that.

You probably would have had some people until you said more talented than Joe Burrow.

He’s not as physically talented as Joe.

A 4.4 doesn’t mean more physically talented. Did you watch Joe in the SEC championship?

Daniels is faster sure. Burrow is a bigger QB, more arm strength, better accuracy, and probably has better pocket mobility. What part of Daniels is more physically talented than Burrow? Other than pure down field speed.

I trust that Head Coach Brian Kelly will start the player who gives us the best chance at winning.

This isn’t about joe burrow. But when we’re talking pure tools it’s Jamarcus Perrilloux and then Jayden.
Of course joe is the best QB in LSU history but Jayden could be a heisman finalist.

VeniceBeachMouton - Talent has never been the problem at LSU. You are right about one thing though...... you can't teach 4.4 speed.

So two guys who couldn’t hack it in the nfl and never won a heisman have more tools than Joe Burrow?

Okay

Jesus. He may have talent potential but he's not an All American QB and he has never came close to that point in his career thus far. You people are stupid.

Can they develop him to that point? Maybe. It probably won't be this year though.
