Koki Riley, Lafayette Daily Advertiser - How LSU baseball's bullpen led the way in a series sweep over Mississippi State.
For the first time in three years, LSU baseball has a winning record against SEC competition.
The Tigers (23-9, 7-5) accomplished the feat on Saturday after their second consecutive road victory over Mississippi State (18-15, 4-8) in Starkville, as LSU's bullpen held a one-run lead through the final four frames, winning 4-3. The victory came after a dramatic 5-2 win on Friday when the Tigers came back from a 2-1 deficit in the ninth inning.
LSU completed the series sweep Sunday, scoring five runs in the fifth inning on its way to a 13-3 win. Before the weekend, the last time the Tigers had a winning record in conference play was March 2019.
But this weekend it was the LSU bullpen that drove the series sweep, allowing just two runs and striking out 21 batters in 14 innings pitched across three games. Here are four takeaways from the unit's performance against the defending champions.

Are those high school coaches you listen to still telling you how terrible Johnson is? I know you said it’s important Johnson change their attitude considering they could do a better job.

Who is 'y'all?' Every LSU fan?
The big issue for many LSU baseball fans were the fielding issues. Get those corrected and it's more than half the battle.
Anyone who honestly believes this team isn't talented isn't being realistic. I'm not suggesting that we're going to Omaha next week but the team was focused, never gave up, swept a conference foe (defending national champs) and the bats came out and we didn't have many errors. There were some but not like they had been doing.
Could be just what this team needs to get it going.
Johnson knows the expectations.
Not sure why you often times will start a thread and then when you get a few comments, you turn it into a 14 year arguing about nonsense. The only thing people were commenting about to you is you saying "he should've done it a long time ago" or something along those lines.
Just calm down. Not everything has to turn into a big meltdown and a bunch of name calling.
Goodness.

For the love of God. Dude stfu , you can go wherever magician2 is hiding and hangout with him. Jj isn’t doing anything different that is noticeable to high school coaches that don’t watch every game.
I’d say maybe 2% of lsu fans can tell you what changes were made this weekend

What, exactly, did Johnson change going into and during the MSU series?

Might be my keen intellect, but I detected some sarcasm in his post.
