Are we ready for Quad Pods?

TX, OK, ARKY, MIZOO
BAMA, AUB, TENN, VANDY
UF, UGA, SC, KY
The only thing that doesn't fit is the AUB / UGA thing.

Those are 100 percent going to be the pods and they are actually well balanced.

So, how will the rotation work? Drop the STUPID matched opponent... Do they still keep east and west? Does the league match home and away for each pod in a rolling fashion?
LSU plays inside it's POD every year. That would be 3 games. Match another POD... 4 more games... That's only 7...

So in a pod format, how does conference Championship play out? A CFP style 1v4 2v3 semi with winners moving on to the conference Championship? Play the semis on campus of the higher seed?

I imagine it would be 9 conf games a year. 3 from ur pod and 2 from each other pod every year. Play every SEC opponent every 2 years outside of your pod.
As far as conf championship I would think that would be like the current big 12 setup. Top 2 records play each other in championship and they go to H2H tiebreakers and so forth if needed.

I saw the suggestion that every year the pods rotate to create two pseudo divisions of two paired pods. So you play everyone in your pod, everyone in your paired pod, and one from each other pod. Then the best SEC record out of your division (your pod and your paired pod) goes to the championship. Then the next year you're paired with a different pod.
No idea if or how that would work scheduling wise with home and away games, but I thought it was an interesting idea.

who can be optimistic about any decision being made that would please the fans? our current scheduling is crap, and i expect it to continue. everyone needs to play everybody else fairly regularly. i'm not holding my breath.

Our pod is pretty cake, the runt Mississippi schools who we own and Aggie is our bitch as well. They couldn’t beat a pathetic team last year and jimbo is so overrated.
