IMO. This result makes no sense if every round was 10-9. But, if you gave Sterling a 10-8 for the 2nd or 3rd (or both) it would make the end results make more sense. Especially when a guy (or girl) seemingly loses 3 rounds and wins a fight.

They gave Sterling this off the takedowns in round 2 and 3. Other than that he didn't do much. I thought round was draw. There was no action in the 1st.

Sterling is one of those champs the UFC hates having. Boring fights are guaranteed against anyone with good takedown or submission defense. Yan should’ve won that fight. Holding someone down doesn’t mean you get a 10-8. There needs to be damage done.

It was 3 to 2 for yan. Round 2 was sterling's only round he looked good. Round 3 he just sat there with his hooks in. Ref should have stood them up. Round 1 was clearly yans 4 and 5 were his pretty clearly as well.
