Not wanting a schizophrenic heroin addict missing teeth coming up to your car window after a trip to Total Wine or Target doesn't make you a NIMBY, it makes you a normal member of society who doesn't want to have do deal with that shite, especially with your family in the car.

The worst is when I start pumping gas or walking into a convenience store and see one of them start approaching me. I wouldn't give them money anyway but I don't usually carry cash either.

The one armed guy at Coursey and Sherwood has been working that area for a few years now.

People have got to stop giving these junkies money, or else poison will keep festering and soon they could randomly attack someone’s wife again at a fricking gas station.

Yeah it pisses me off too. I've seen the same people working the same corners for 3-4 years in some cases. They aren't looking for a helping hand to get back on their feet.

The Sheriff refuses to do his job. The BRPD police chief is a racist socialist. Nothing will happen.

1. EBR parish prison is not taking misdemeanors currently.

2. You can't write these guys a citation because they don't typically have ID.

3.When that occurs they have to be booked into parish prison until they can be identified.

4. See #1.

there’s a woman and her family working the corner of Acadian & Perkins now - they’ve worked different locations on and off for about 10 years

Maybe they only beg when they need it, but years ago she had a sign saying she needed diapers and I had some in the car and tried to give them to her. She wouldn’t take them. Then why ask?

Hell bring them to Mexico. For every illegal that comes in the country we should deport a homeless person.

This could actually work. If you’re a homeless or a smoker you get your SSN put into a big bingo spinner. Each illegal gets to pull a card. If they pick your SSN they keep it and you go to Mexico.

wish I had more than 1 upvote.

I love Louisiana but it’s been on a downward spiral for too long and tLand Mass has done nothing but keeping on improving.

Coastal Mississippi is awesome. It’s biggest downside is it’s proximity to Slidell.

The one on the woods between Siegen and bluebonnet is back in action as well. It’s harder to see with the leaves coming back

One was playing an electric violin while his woman was dancing to it in this nice looking dress. It was a totally bizarre scene

In Katy, there’s a guy that lip syncs and dances like Michael Jackson and Prince. I’ve seen women get out to video him and talk to him. At least he’s providing entertainment.

They rest of these lazy S.O.B’s just expect you to hand it over. Hell naw….

Anyone talk to the black folks in yellow vests at Bluebonnet/Burbank today? I never roll my window down so not sure what they were peddling.

There is a Hispanic lady with 3 or 4 kids that has worked the corner of Bluebonnet at Airline occasionally for years. She'll disappear for 6 months and be back all of the sudden. Those kids are a lot damn older now than they were when I first saw them.

Put them back in downtown BR where they belong.

They should be able to sleep in the state capitol.

Stand near them with a large sign telling people to donate to homeless shelter and/or food bank. They’ll go away when people stop giving them money thinking they are starving.
