It seems like McMahon is concentrating on bringing better basketball players than athletes. Wade brought better athletes, but hardly any basketball IQ. They might be better off, once he gets a full team.

I'd love to see the core of the team stay for three or four years. One and dones should be the anomaly.

I am not making any long term judgements on anything McMahon will do regarding recruiting based on this class.

I remember the early Brady days when he would field teams that were competitive but because of lack of talent and depth would eventually lose games. That is where we will live for a couple of years but if he is as good a coach as he seems he will eventually start to get better talent and could bring LSU basketball back to competing for an SEC championship and a spot in the tourney with a few deep runs occasionally.

We'll have to see. He only has 3 players so far. He has a long way to go. My expectations are low because Woody razed this program to the ground and it's not MM's fault. If MM can bring in good players under this terrible environment then props to him.

Given the uncertainty of the situation and looming penalties, I think he’s probably taking what he can get. I don’t think we really know what kind of players he’ll bring in until we’re clear of the sanctions.

Unless you're at the very top, one and done's don't build a program.

Not gonna lie, give me a stud with 4-5 good players with high IQ ANY day over 5 individuals that make too many bone-head decisions regularly.

Not a shot, just a blanket statement

For god's sake. I want McMahon to do well but come on now.

You are acting like the 3 player's McMahon brought in are world beaters. No one knows. It could work out it could not. Stop trying to crown him so soon.

You have no way of knowing that they are better basketball players than athletes considering that you probably have only seen Murray St. play 1 full game this year if that.

You are deluded if you don't think Adam Miller and Brandon Murray aren't massive losses. Or to think that Cornelius Williams is better than fricking Julian Phillips or Traore. I want McMahon to do well but let's wait and see before you start crowning the players he brings in

They’re not gonna be better but they have a chance to be good. He’s gonna have to get a five star or two mixed in with those guys in the future because that’s how you in in college basketball. You have a core group of solid players combined with one or two superstars.
