I live in Fuquay Varina, NC, where Gervase is from, and I was walking into the Sheetz here last October and this couple flagged me down because I had a LSU polo on. It turned out to be his aunt and uncle and nothing but pure excitement that he’s an LSU Tiger. We talked for about 5 mins and by the end they had told me where the whole family lived and invited me over to watch the games with them.
A lot of LSU fans here these days because of this kid.

Fella by the name of J R Richards is who this kid reminds me of. If he develops a slider look out. Coming from an angle at over 7' to the mitt is already tough enough for hitters. His release point is gonna give them big time troubles.

He definitely needs to be worked into the starting rotation.If he becomes someone that can get you 6-7 innings of work an keep teams under 3 runs while doing it,we will win a lot of games with him on the mound

Really nice compliment to Hilliard. Hilliard was just spent and was leaving his curve balls hanging there in the 6th.
