I've done a 180 deg. turn on the SCOTUS nominee hearings.

Sometimes the best way to deal with a really bad idea is to agree with it, even in a turbocharged way.

This nominee is already in. As the saying goes, "it's all over, but the shouting." The shouting and combat by the GOP has zero chance of stopping the inevitable. She's all but in.
We can already see the narrative that the is 'bravely facing tough questions'.

This is allowing a loser to be framed as 'a tough fighter', 'a winner', as someone who proved they deserved the position because because of how they skillfully outwitted the opposition. The myth that she survived against the odds is being created when she was never even close to being in danger.

The better strategy here would be to point out the absurdity of this nomination, by agreeing with it. Instead of questions, simply convey congratulations to her on being a black woman. Because being a black woman is such huge accomplishment. Agree that that is the only thing that makes her deserving of the position.

This strategy would give no oxygen to the false narrative that she has any skill or toughness. The free pass would lay bare that the sole reason she got the position had nothing to do with education, wisdom, or skill. This would forever be the asterisk next to her name.

There's no "winning" when the media is almost solely controlled by the left.

They made her and those who support her go on record about who she is. That may not count for much now, but it will down the road. She was getting confirmed, regardless.

Why? Its a 50-50 senate. As long as you keep the RINO’s in line, persuading Manchin or Sinema that she’s a bad choice is enough to sink the nomination

The GOP should have had a line of child victims out the door to speak about how her light sentences resulted in their being raped.

Regardless if any of it was true.

The left is going after children and is soft on crime. Pointing out (on the record) that she is part of that problem and democrat politicians support her and those ideas, will help down the line

I applaud your enthusiasm but this isn’t going to happen. She will be confirmed because she met the potato’s criteria of being a black woman.

Nick Land would agree with you. Accelerationism may be the only way out.

Miss Lindsey seems more pissed than normal. Could be an act, but don’t discount his ability to whip votes in the senate.

He keeps saying his favorite choice from his home state was more qualified and Jackson was bought.

Agree....they should have let Brandon near her daughters; maybe she'd think about pedos a little differently

And if these questions were not posed then you would cry that the republicans were not doing anything but rubber stamping the nomination.

She isn’t qualified to sit on the bench. But she will join another less qualified judge if seated.

Thanks, didn't know who that was but I checked it out.

Yes, similar idea. Turbocharging a bad idea is sometimes the best way to destroy it.

Example: Let's say the left wants the income tax rate to 90%?
Agree with it and deploy it as quickly as possible. The idea would be dead in a few weeks, maybe days.

Romney, Collins, and Murkowski will kill those hopes.

The questions and opposition will only be used to make her appear to be the winner of a fight.
That couldn't be done in the absence of a fight. This plays right into the left's propaganda.

If the approval is done in a dramatic, ridiculous, and over the top way, it sends a stronger message.

Literally no chance. I assure you both of them signed off on it before they nominated her

Right. I don't think that either Manchin or Sinema have ever rejected a Biden court nominee.

The best way to beat the left is just to go along with everything they do. That'll show 'em.

I have to say the GOP has done a shrewd job of responding. The selection of Brown was deliberately inciteful. It was meant to set off a battle to excite their base.

The GOP has highlighted exactly why she's terrible in a clear way with their eye on not pissing off the people who are abandoning Biden.

They're speaking right to voters and saying this is who the left is: radical, divisive perverts who haven't learned a thing and are after your children.

TLDR: I happen to think they've played this very smart for once and think they deserve credit.

Truth. For every Manchin & Sinema there's a Romney, Collins, Murkowski and more.
