Note all are now gone from public service gigs and have moved on to cushier better paying ones where they can shape minds through propaganda.
Mike Hayden, former CIA director, now analyst for CNN: Didn’t respond.
Jim Clapper, former director of national intelligence, now CNN pundit: “Yes, I stand by the statement made AT THE TIME, and would call attention to its 5th paragraph. I think sounding such a cautionary note AT THE TIME was appropriate.”
Leon Panetta, former CIA director and defense secretary, now runs a public policy institute at California State University: Declined comment.
John Brennan, former CIA director, now analyst for NBC and MSNBC: Didn’t respond.
Thomas Fingar, former National Intelligence Council chair, now teaches at Stanford University: Didn’t respond.
Rick Ledgett, former National Security Agency deputy director, now a director at M&T Bank: Didn’t respond.
John McLaughlin, former CIA acting director, now teaches at Johns Hopkins University: Didn’t respond…..and on and on with no comments or no response.

Why now? I still don’t get it.

They don't care if you "out" them. You cannot criminally refer them for an " opinion" either. The problem is that when they make statements like saying the laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign, no one ever asks for details. " If what you are saying is true, Mr. Brennan, can you please enlighten us as to how specifically you can tell? Where is the evidence to back up your assertion."
Personally, I have no problem with bad things happening to John Brennan. He is an evil man.

Hasn’t been accountability for politicians’ nor government employees actions for a long, long time. Nothing will change until some form of accountability is restored.
One of my biggest issues with Trump was his inability or desire to go scorched earth on the Deep State.

Haul them up in front of the new Congress and investigate them for conspiracy, because we all know thats what this was. It likely runs deep.
And what good would that do? You think Congress is more honest than these traitors? They're all part of the same swamp.

I thought their letter was pretty tame. Certainly nothing to apologize about.

It was seditious in nature (and design imho) and you wanted Trump out by “any means necessary.” Why would you, or the the leftist progressive filth that is your ilk, see anything to apologize for?

Good grief. Here let me remind you what you are upset about.

We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.

Yet NOT ONE came out and said how this was greatly over expounding, if not completely distorting, their “pretty tame” statement:
quote:
There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant. Five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except his good friend Rudy Giuliani.
Weird, huh?
