Saints need to walk away from the table

At some point you actually have to want to play here. This isn’t a life or death decision. Pick a team and commit.
Saints have put up an incredible effort to get him but it’s clear his heart is set on going home and I hope he regrets that big time.

My only concern with this is if they can't move Ryan, Watson may end up at Carolina. I'm not scared of Watson at Atlanta, but I am of him at Carolina

Agreed. Bow out. Move on and get someone that wants to be here.

Yup. Use those first round picks and extra cap to get some good pieces and keep whipping the rest of the division. Watson included if he thinks he can screw us over.

He's going to ATL and he's hoping that his delay in announcing the decision will accomplish 2 things: 1) Jameis Winston signs with another team; 2) ATL finds a team that will take Matt Ryan for a good price.
That's my IMHO. I'm with the other guy who suggested this scenario first.

I actually agree. Saints are the head choice and Atlanta is the heart choice. That’s where he wants to be he’s just got a nagging feeling he won’t win there. I think he’s right but that’s his problem now

I don’t want his Rapey a-hole loving self here anyway. frick him and frick the falcons. He’s a loser like that franchise.

I don’t believe any of this. It’s a head vs heart choice and it’s dragging on

What a shitty take. Walk away from a top 5 QB who is still young when you are one of the final two teams.

That’s what’s losers say down 10 with 3 to go.

He could just say Atlanta is his team and they are waiting on Ryan to be traded.

Isn't that exactly what he's saying without saying it?

Uh-huh, sure.
And why do that when if you WAIT as long as possible with the Saints on the hook with baited breath, Jameis Winston will either sign with some other team OR will be very aware of the fact that HE is not the Saints' first choice.
Watson wants to go to the Falcons AND hurt the Saints in the process. That's my take.

Agreed.. thats what watson should have done at the massage table…. Walk away.

Of he wants to go to another shite team like the Texans instead of a team that can win now then frick him. He clearly doesn’t want to win now.

You walk away when a player doesn’t want to be here. If Watson wanted to be a Saint he’d already be one.
