We are huge fans. We have always watched every game together. Am I supposed to ignore the sexual assault allegations. I want to see the saints win like anyone else. Do not see why Watson is the only answer. The dude has not played in a while. When he does he flashes brilliance but….

Bruh. Women went to his house to “give him a massage.” Women who weren’t a masseuse for a living. They knew what they were doing, don’t raise your daughters to be whores.

I get it, and I have the same reservations; however, a grand jury dismissing the case is pretty strong. Could it be this is a situation of money buying off the courts? Sure, but I doubt it. It does appear these women’s cases did not hold up to scrutiny. Just because a man is accused does not mean he is guilty.
We have to go with the innocent until proven guilty, and he was not proven guilty. This is not like Winston in which the Uber driver was credible and they settled out of court.

They're football players...not role models.
As long as they're ok in the eyes of the law, then that's all you should really care about.
That being said...you should probably care a lot more about who your daughter marries. That should be your only concern imo.

QB in the nfl is the most important position in any team sport.
Having an elite qb makes the team an immediate contender.
He is the only available elite qb.
And winning = money and joy
Which far out weighs a few days/weeks of backlash on social media.
But yeah may not root for and emotionally invest in his individual success like drew , ak, mt , cam , etc… over the years

So rape is ok for football players? Or just bad behavior in general? This is a pretty bad take.
The rest of what you say is true, but holding millionaires to a lower standard than others for the sole reason that they entertain us is quite a stance

The law said that he wasn't guilty. That's all I'm saying.
No need to go any further than that. We're not Private Investigators.

If you are that torn up about it, go read the allegations. I have a young daughter and an inquisitive mind. I ran about a dozen of them when the story was breaking and they were all very similar.
He hired women to come give him massages at his house. During the massage, he asked them to do certain things (focus on arse, rub anus, touch penis, give handy, BJ…). They all agreed. None of the ones I read ever said he forced the situation. Many said bc of who he was they felt they had to do it, and didn’t want to; but from what I saw he never forced the issue
Also, at least a handful went back again after the initial “assault”.

The vast majority of NFL players are people you probably would not invite to your house to have dinner with your family. Why is Watson any different? They are not the standard bearers of morality in our society. They are people who are paid to hit other people for your enjoyment.

How did the conversations go with your daughter regarding your support of Trump? Did you ignore all the sexual allegations against the President? Surly, you wouldn’t want your daughter’s husband cheating on her while she was two months pregnant? That had to be some uncomfortable conversations you had since you want to be the moral police.
