Who is the bigger threat to our freedom right now: Democrats or Republicans?

My answer: Republicans.
I know who the Democrats are. I know what they want, and what they think about me and people like me.
It's the Republicans who pretend to be on our side and fight for us, and if you just give them money they will stop the "radical left". In reality they are just gate keepers for the Democrats. They are there to block our access, and keep us from getting out of hand. 95%+ of them care more about Ukraine's border than our border. They talk a big game about stopping Bidens agenda, but then when it's time to fund it they all get in line.

I don't know of any Republicans, even GOPe RINOs who are openly calling for MSNBC, The Daily Beast and CNN to be shuttered, yet #ByeByeOAN was trending this morning.

As much as I hate the democrat party I have to agree with you.
The Republicans are telling people like me that Ukraine matter more than what I want. just wanted a Yuge beautiful wall at the southern border, nope. make this country energy independent, nope. take care of our veterans, nope. fix the opioid crisis, nope.

The country has been in utter chaos for 2 years and the GOP has been AWOL....silence, crickets, snoring.

While I think both parties don't give a damn about me, there's only one party that openly advocates the abolition of the 1st and 2nd Amendment. There's only one party that doesn't try to hide the fact that they don't think parents have a say in their children's education. There's only one party that is driving up oil prices to force people to buy electric vehicles. And it ain't the Republicans.
While you may be right that Republicans are only pretending to be on our side, we know for a fact that Dems are not. Even tho we likely agree, I think about it the opposite as you. I'd rather the group that is at least pretending than the group is saying "F U" to my face.

Political views of the citizens are becoming polarized.
The priorities of the politicians align when they are choosing themselves over the citizens they serve. This explains why there are names like “RINOs”. Because they SAY things to appease their party’s masses, but DO what serves their own best interests.

With the exception of the 4-year Trump interlude, it’s been the same group controlling things since Bush 41.
