More than 6 in 10 Americans oppose legislation that would prohibit classroom lessons about sexual orientation or gender identity in elementary school, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.

The ABC News/Ipsos poll, which was conducted by Ipsos in partnership with ABC News using Ipsos' KnowledgePanel, found that 62% of Americans oppose such legislation, while 37% support it.

The results show lopsided disapproval for laws like the one that recently passed in Florida that limits what elementary school classrooms can teach about sexual orientation and gender identity. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has expressed support for the bill, which awaits his signature or veto.

OKAY, wait let's actually look at that Ipsos poll....

Of course. Propaganda never ends.

Yeah, absolutely no way that poll is close to accurate. Leave the kids alone…. Teach academics, the other stuff they will figure out when they mature. This is brainwashing, and they know it…..

Yeah, they really gotta stop using polls exclusively from LA and Seattle. They really skew the numbers.

So basically, they over sampled pedophiles and child groomers. Hope they recorded names and contact info.

With the recent election results based upon CRT in the classrooms, you know this poll is propaganda.

Definitely seems like propaganda. Even so, what is right is determined by God, not by public opinion polls.

Ridiculous!

Almost as ridiculous as gays deliberately associating homosexuality and pedophilia.

Elementary kids shouldn’t be taught anything about sex PERIOD. I’ve got one that just moved to middle and one in second grade and it enrages me that these filth are trying to pervert children that only want to learn about dinosaurs, heavy machinery, and princesses. They deserve a special place in hell!

Polls are usually out of 1000. So they nuked 400 answers to get these results.

This is so disingenuous. 6 out of 10 Americans may oppose a bill that says people can't say gay in schools. That bill however does not exist

As a Floridian, IDGAF what anyone in any other part of the country thinks. We intend to let our kids be kids.

shite be like having the msm scream nonstop that your mother is a whore. Have 'experts' chime in on what a whore she is...and then have the nerve to present a poll saying most people think your mother is a whore.
