Let's say that Civil War 2.0 happens...

...isn't it a convenient excuse to invoke Martial Law on U.S. soil? They could revoke our constitutional rights in the name of national security. Canada was essentially a dry run for what is coming here.

What’s gonna be the catalyst? Multiple coup attempts on a duly elected president ? A stolen election circumventing the will of the people? Closed and persecuted houses of worship? Political prisoners being held and beaten for at best, criminal trespass charges?

Not possible to split this country into 2 without two very strong states. If we get into civil war it will be regional wars and will be miserable for everyone. We are better off trying to get things under control within the system than going to war.
We could use some "radical" changes. Term limits, ballot access reforms, ranked choice voting, but I don't know how you get those in with the current government in place.

I think if (and it's a big IF) we had a hot civil war, the catalyst will be our children. The only issue that has gotten middle America to really stand up and push back over the last 2 years has been issues with schools and children. CRT and forced shots were met with more resistance than they anticipated after no one did a thing about the Chinese Flu overreaches and election fraud.
The push by the left to sexualize our young children may cause a flashpoint they haven't reckoned on. And that push is coming.

I believe before a civil war happens here the economy collapses first. Nobody is grabbing a rifle when their pockets are still flush, netflix up, and the kitchen is stocked.
But if it does get to that point. I doubt the "blue" will be on our side.
