Axios
We knew this was coming. With Hispanics trending towards MAGA/Republican politics, the left was bound to start demonizing them.

What they're saying: Experts tell Axios far-right extremism within the Latino community stems from three sources: Hispanic Americans who identify as white; the spread of online misinformation; and lingering anti-Black, antisemitic views among U.S. Latinos that are rarely openly discussed.

Racism is deeply rooted in Latin American and Caribbean nations, where slavery was common, Tanya K. Hernández, a Fordham University law professor and author of the upcoming book, "Racial Innocence: Unmasking Latino Anti-Black Bias," told Axios. "In Latin America, white supremacy is alive and well.”

Someone actually wrote that sentence?
Blaming whitey for things Latin nations did.

This should do wonders to help Democrats here in Texas. Dems have lost the core hispanic voter. And the Tejanos are more right wing than me. Dems are fricked here in Texas

Would the dems 7/24/365 pandering to blacks have something to do with that?

The article is stupid but the Spaniards did kind of wreck shop down there.

If Hispanics ever started voting hardcore GOP the southern border would look like the DMZ in Korea.

The Tejanos want to militarize the border. No shite

The former Spanish colonies are very racist.
Edit - the rest of the world is racist. Everyone has an innate preference for people like them.
We’re maybe the only culture that suppresses that.

In general, Latinos whose families have been in the US for more than a generation are the most populist of all Americans. They love them some Trump. Down here in Cosa Rica what I hear from Ticos on the subject of Trump is 95% positive. All they want is to earn a good living for their families and drink a few beers on the weekend. BTW, there is a high percentage of black Jamaicans that live on the east coast of CR, and Ticos avoid them like the plague. I wonder why?

I thought whites were the only ones capable of racism?

When you are so out of touch from reality, you think this and the reason why conservatives will have the majority in the house and senate

Right here!
What a thoroughly unconvincing article.
The Texas State Penal system is a near perfect metaphor for what can happen when Whites and Hispanics start "voting" the same. The prisons are filled with black inmates wearing scars trying to hide any past black gang affiliation, and I would imagine that scares the living f*ck out of the left.

This is serious. First time I’ve heard anyone actually mentioned there was slavery outside United States!

This type of talk will really help them

Whites are the only ones not allowed to be racist.
Hell, Asians are racist as frick.

I thought using the word Hispanics was racist, outdated and insulting.
Can you imagine a master plan of allowing unfettered immigration for decades only to have it turn on you as people who risked it all for freedom actually recognize which side is really for freedom?
Sometimes He works in mysterious ways!
