Baseball is a long season with a lot more opportunities to improve than football. A baseball team that loses their first five or more games can still make it to Omaha.

Skip’s teams always seemed to struggle early in the year before catching their groove

The mountain of errors is pretty unacceptable though.

Sure, but would you rather they happen early when they can be corrected with less consequences, or at the end of the season?

I think we'd rather it not happen at all

I get your point, but the number of errors we're seeing is laughable!

Errors like the ones committed shouldn’t really happen at this level as it is.

They shouldn’t happen at all on routine plays. Every once while sure but 3-4 errors every game on routine plays is not acceptable.

Losing games is losing games, regardless of the sport. Yes, it's a longer season with more opportunities to improve, but fielding and pitching don't always improve when you're in the best baseball conference in the country, and this team has a lot of improving to do in both areas.

Certainly not time to panic, but concern is not out of the question.

Haha bro shut the hell up. If you can’t see we won’t win shite until the defense gets fixed. We shouldn’t be ranked as high. This is atrocious.

This team hasn’t beat anyone with a pulse unless you count OU

I’m just tired of the “season is ruined” posts.

Of course the defense has to get fixed. It’s really bad right now. If it continues, JJ is gonna have to answer for it.

That's Baseball.
Still early in the season; just wait until May.
Calm down.
Relax.
You really don't know anything about Baseball.
You're an Idiot. (Agree with me or I'll call you a name)
We'll be Fine.

Funny how you and Masona bitch about losing games like they don't matter. Excluding last year LSU gotten routinely beaten on weekday games and excluding 2017 we sucked in the post season for 11 years.

Why don't you get that everyone gets that? The real question is why don't some of you get that LSU is making an astronomical and comical amount of errors, and only has one reliable starting pitcher?

There is legitimate reason for concern. There are early season things that can always be chalked up to "it's early, and we're figuring out our roster". Defense isn't one of those things. It is a huge problem right now.

well, that seems to be a valid possibility.

The first week of March does seem to be a tad early to start with the doom and gloom stuff considering the fact we have a new coach but each to our own.
