LSU’s opponents routinely go the first 10 minutes of game without getting called for fouls

How is this statistically even possible?
Tim Donaghy admitted that NBA refs at times had a bet amongst themselves over who would be the first to call a foul that night. Loser pays.
I’m convinced the SEC refs bet amongst themselves over not calling a foul on LSU’s opponents.
3 live ball first half foul calls on Arkansas last night.

We need a conspiracy board to keep up with all of these.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team go the first 10 minutes without a foul called on them and it’s happened multiple times this season.

Or you could try addressing the facts of the post for once. But you won’t do that because you’re a dumbass.

How does it happen?
Explain it
Explain it

This is very weird to me too. Every game just about it starts out like 5-1, 7-2, 9-3 fouls or something to that effect

You are certainly right about opponents not getting called for any fouls until 10 or so minutes into each game.
And then finishing the first half with only three or four team fouls.
So every team facing LSU plays defense such as they seldom foul the Tigers in the first half? It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

I believe Arkansas didn't get their first foul until the 12:30 mark last night.

I laughed when they marveled at how Arkansas was "playing great defense without fouling" because those words are muttered about almost every LSU opponent. Going 10 minutes without a single foul is not possible. There was a game recently where it was 15 minutes without a foul. Even if your defense is stacked with all-defense caliber players, with perfect technique, rotation, etc., you are going to mess up and foul. There will be a moving screen, someone will fly over a box out, someone will grab a jersey running through a screen, etc. It's not IF, but WHEN. Then you have the opposite end of the spectrum where there was 40 fouls called last night in 40 minutes of action. College basketball officiating leaves a lot to be desired, to put it nicely.

You’re projecting, and you don’t have a clue of what you’re talking about.
The latest really bizarre claim is that refs are betting each other. Point out the fact. Is it hiding in there somewhere? No? Oh...cuz it’s not a factual statement, “dumbass.”
OP made a specific statement and I responded, even quoting the statement.
Hell I’ve added more to this thread than you have, since all you know how to do is call people a dumbass (again, an obvious projection).

It has happened before. Donaghy admitted as much.
So if it’s happened before, you think it can’t happen again?

By my count we have had AT LEAST 6 games go into the 2nd media timeout (under 12 minutes) where the other team does not have a foul. That is just absurd.

How do refs make bad calls?
They suck, that’s how. I responded specifically to your statement about being convinced the refs actually betting each other.

Are you one of those people who thinks every time Saban says he’s staying at Alabama he’s lying, because of what happened that one time?
Because it happened before (in a different league) doesn’t make it a pattern.

Wow what an amazing comparison

Saban did it three times. At Michigan state, LSU, and Miami So things do happen more than once.

I have consistently said this season that LSU fouls a lot. Many of them are stupid and avoidable fouls.
But what happens far too often to be coincidental is that the refs choke on their whistles when the opponents foul. There is no way any sane person can say that Arkansas wasn’t fouling in the first half. Even the broadcaster made the comment coming out of the half that “Arkansas was able to play defense without fouling”.
If the refs would have just called the charge calls properly in the first half LSU wins that game because the 6’10 player that spends all game flopping would have been in the bench in foul trouble most of the game.
