Wow. Ukraine’s neighbors really are standing strong for Ukraine. It’s almost like they really don’t care and are just waiting for the US to come and bail out Ukraine.
Gee we would like to help but I have a meeting at 2:00.

Old news and misleading. The EU as an organization isn't sending any. Individual Europeans countries are.

Why send planes at this point? Ukraine will soon give up the east in exchange for a promise of neutrality/non-NATO alliance.
Not much else to say. Jets aren't changing the negotiation.

Hey now. They lit up several buildings to look like the Ukrainian flag.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said Monday that Bulgaria doesn’t have enough warplanes to guard its own airspace, let alone enough to send to Ukraine.
On Monday, Ukraine’s parliament claimed Poland planned on giving Ukraine MiG-29 fighters, but Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki denied the plans. "Poland doesn’t have such plans," Mateusz said on Tuesday.
An unnamed EU diplomat told Politico that some EU countries were "outraged" after Borrel announced that the bloc would be giving Ukraine warplanes since his announcement came shortly after Russia’s nuclear forces were put on high alert.
"Making such announcements on the same day that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced to put his nuclear deterrence force on ‘high alert’ risks to escalate the situation further," the diplomat said.
fricking pathetic! Trump warned them of this exact threat and they did not listen. frick THEM

Trump warned them of what exactly?

The dirty secret is the West does not want a quick end to this war. They want Putin to conquer and occupy Ukraine but not be able to control it. Ukraine resistance along with sanctions that will remain as long as Russia is there will bleed Russia dry and Russia will collapse.given enough time.
So what's a little Ukrainian death, pain, and suffering as long as the end goal is achieved?
It's sickening.

Your post is misleading, the EU was going to reimburse the members "willing" to send jets.

Evidently, they can't find any takers.

What are you like in real life? Gay, unemployed, transgender? You see a country that your party is destroying and you come on here as if all is good.
Please name two good things your party has done in the past year? Hell, one? Afghanistan, border, energy, inflation, economy, Covid?

That's a strange way of putting it.
I think what you mean is the Ukraine will soon give up the east and promise neutrality/non-NATO in exchange for Russia agreeing to a cease fire/peace.
...and, I'm not sure I agree with that.

Agree or not, the only thing that stops it is a military intervention. The negotiations are happening right now.

The only thing the Ukrainian Air Force could use was Migs and other Cold War leftovers. Poland has some they could sent be that’s about it.

No, they are not.
And that Ukraine MP looks like a real fricking clown. It's like they just looked up to see how many MiG29's some EU countries have and announced they were donating them to the cause without even asking them. Clownshow.

It wasn’t a realistic idea.
Either they get shot down when they enter Ukrainian airspace, or they get blown up on the tarmac a couple of hours later.

I say we give Ukraine a few of our new F35s. We could end all the controversy about their performance and see just how good they are/aren't.
