Gaines shoots a 3 with a big lead and time expiring. Bush League. No respect for the opponents or the game.

If the shot clock wasn’t going to run out, sure. Since it was, I have no problem with it. If Missouri is super upset about losing by 20 instead of 17, than that weak arse attitude is probably why they are in this position in the first place.

This is where all the LSU fans act like they wouldn’t be pissed if someone did that against them.
Even in games with backups and walk-on players in, everyone understands just take the violation, other team gets ball back and hands ball to official.
For me, this is more about Gaines than anything. That’s just who he is. Guy is an idiot. Might literally be the only player in college or pro basketball to take that shot.
Guaranteed even Wade is like, “or you really that stupid? Do I actually have to tell you not to take that shot?”

He has to throw it up or take a violation. It was a low % shot and he didn't really look like he was trying all that hard, shite happens. Looked like Wade said that it wasn't suppose to go in when they had the camera on him right after.

Not his fault. Shot clock would have expired just prior to game clock. He threw up a long one to just let the game expire.
