See this all over social media: Taiwan is next!!

A) I don’t believe China has that serious of a hard-on to do it. Never met many who thought this was a big deal.

B) The last amphibious landing sufficient in size to pull this off occurred in 1944. You don’t sneak 7,000 ships anywhere these days. (ETA: Incheon in 1950 might be a relevant example, but I doubt that was big enough for this.)

Beijing will always rattle this saber, and a takeover via electronic decapitation may change things, but it’s just not realistic to think you can do this with a military operation across 100 miles of open water.

dude you need to do your research, in chinese law Taiwan IS in china. Based on Chinas activity in Taiwanese airspace, it looks like it will be sooner rather than later. the invasion doesnt have to be amphibious, they can airdrop in too.

And this enables them to telemagically pull off an invasion like this?

Exactly what research am I missing Mr. Kissinger?

You're a CCP apologist. Of course you believe everything they say.

At least now we know whose alter JohnHager913 is.

yeah dude, they are going to take it over. the chicoms dont like Taiwanese dissidents. checkout what happened with Hong Kong. do you think China is a bunch of nice guys? check out the cultural revolution of the 1950's and what they did to Tibet. really, you need to do some research you sound dumb (im refraining from making a&m jokes)

Oh good grief. Here we go again.

Couldn't you just not say this which will then guarantee that it happens?

I dont think it will happen anytime soon, at least not a conventional boots on the ground.

They would need naval dominance and air dominance to get troops on the ground from amphibious and or air.

The bring on an air campaign, cyber, and bring it to its knees and force the US to make a decision.

Lol. Have you ever talked to a Chinese person?

Ask them their thoughts on Taiwan. They do not recognise it

I’d hide them all in container ships and sail them right into port after paying off the dock crew.

They aren’t ready yet. They are on like a 50 year plan to dominate their hemisphere. Taiwan will be part of that eventually.

Mainland china is only 100 miles from Taiwan. They will take it when they want and nothing anyone can do to stop it.

I don't know if it will come down to an invasion but China is hell bent on taking Taiwan back, & they will.

I don’t know if they will or not, but a lot of people were saying the same thing about Ukraine a few days ago as well.

They sure are spending a ton of money having aircraft fly hundreds of miles to and back from Taiwan airspace just to fukk with them…

They don't need 7,000 ships. Seems like a couple of container ships would do fine. Dock in the evening and start unloading containers. Take out port communications and unload the troops and now they own a port close to a major city and airport. Add a little air cover from planes based on mainland china ensures getting the ships offloaded and now there are 100,000 equipped PLA troops in Taiwan.
