SSX Tricky, Zelda - Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Mario Sunshine...

I remember having a lot of good games, just not sure if they were on Wii or N64.

We had it but not sure why you'd want it now. Unless money is a consideration?

The Switch plugs right into your TV and has generally the same type games. Mario, kart, smash, etc.

As a kid I was Nintendo exclusive till PS2.

I didn't get the PS2 till a few years after launch

In hindsight I get the critism but at the time...ignorance is bliss

X-Box had GTA, KOTOR, Fable, and Halo 2. I fail to see how the OG X-Box wasn’t the winner of that generation.

Some of my favorites:

Tales of Symphonia
Super Mario Sunshin
Baten Kaitos
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Skies of Arcadia
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Metroid Prime
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Super Smash Bros Melee
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Pokemon Colosseum
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
Luigi's Mansion
Eternal Darkness
Pikmin 1 and 2
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Animal Crossing
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

It's a shame the GameCube didn't sell well relative to the PS2 and XBox. It's still my favorite console, although the Switch is slowly gaining traction with it's lineup.

Why would the ones with a larger capacity be a toss-up?

What are your opinions on GameCube, and what are some good games I should look into if I get one?

I never owned one, but friends did. I do know that in college me and a couple of buddies stayed up all night several nights playing SSX: Tricky. Awesome snowboarding game, even if you don't care for snowboarding.

It actually did fine compared to the original XBox.

The PS2 swamped both of those systems so bad Nintendo and Microsoft cut bait early and moved on to development of their next systems.

lifetime sales

PS2 (2000- 2013) - 158 million
XBox (2001-2009) - 24 million
Gamecube (2001-2007) - 21 million

you could quadruple the XBox sales and it still wouldn't have won that gen.

I loved how durable the PS2 discs were. I can’t tell you how many games I had that would get scratches just because I was young and didn’t take proper care of them yet they’d still run
