re: Why do people still wear masks?

In many countries outside the US its still very controlled, especially in third world countries. People are not allowed in public places without them, and the media controls by fear and people here believe it. Unfortunately, this will never change I’m affraid for under devolped countries. Which I think is by design

They aren’t quite ready to get back to work and the routine obligations of life, pre-covid. So many sweet arse excuses to not have to do this and that with covid. I feel them though. I’ve been guilty of milking it some. All good things come to an end though, folks. You’re gonna have to go back to work and return to visiting with your family for holidays and such. Just gotta deal with it. It’s over.

We’re to the point now in most cases that it’s a choice, so why should anyone care? I have a friend that wears one because she has lupus and catching covid or even the flu could kill her. She believes in it. It’s her choice and no one gives her shite about it. Let it be.

Whole lot of young, black folks with health conditions, huh? Least vaccinated portion of the population, but wear that mask in the car.......alone! Perplexing that they don't trust the government and the vaccine, but trust the government when they say a piece of old underwear over your face will protect you.
