Did you get any sports terminology confused growing up?

I can usually pick up the rules for sports just by watching it but cricket confuses the hell out of me.

When I was a kid, I would hear the announcers say “that ball took an Oilers bounce” or “a cowboys bounce”...And I thought there was a different type of bounce for every team.

They sure all looked the same though.

When we played smear the qu!?r..I was also confused as to whether I was gay for that brief period I was it and whether I was doing it right.
