the refs made a bad call at the end....but the bengals scored a TD on a blatant missed opi/facemask

The Bengals had a no call that gave them 7.

The OL was dog shite all season. They just couldn’t overcome it at the end.

This board always blame the refs. They didn’t call the face mask on Ramsey and called a holding against the Bengals LB. The remainder of the game was called fine. Good grief two LSU Tigers won a SB and both love LSU. Joe will get his.

I don’t normally say conspiracy one way or another, but it was obvious that the refs got way more involved at the end of the game than they were at the beginning. Many of those calls were let go in the first half. Combine that with Taylor’s weird play calling. Obviously something changed when you go from 1 sack in the first half to 7 in the second. Whatever they had going on was fine then they allowed the Rams dline to dictate the flow of the game.

Glad to see Whitworth and Odell win and looking forward to seeing Burrow and Chase back in the future with an actual good oline.

Higgins was held on 3rd and goal, no call.

There is a difference between missing a call and making up a call when there wasn’t one. One can be a mistake, the other is deliberate and shows intent.

Should be blaming bengals OC for that 3rd qtr disaster.

Officiating was pretty bad throughout the game. No call on Jalen Ramsey defensive holding on Tee Higgins that should have been a TD. No call on illegal hands to the face Tee Higgins on Jalen Ramsey for the TD. No call on Ramsey defensive holding on Jamarr Chase before Jones got the tip on the ball early in the game. No call for unnecessary roughness on Aaron Donald chunking Burrow out of bounds. Lot of allowed hand fighting all throughout the game by DBs and WRs and then suddenly in the final Rams drive everything is a penalty. Really crappy officiating.

Still, very good game tonight by both teams, and all of those dudes should be proud of how they performed. The Bengals offensive line did a surprisingly solid job for most of the night against some real monsters on that Rams DL.

That shouldn’t have been a penalty

That’s not a penalty either

Well they were penalties. Other fans would be upset if they weren’t called.

They simply let them play for the majority of
The game. There was not one single holding call on Cincinnati OL…you think as bad as they are this is possible against Donald? It would have been better if it would of remained that way in the end but it didn’t. If the damn line could of blocked just a bit then Bengals would of won. Of course, how would the game of turned out if OBJ wouldn’t of gotten hurt?

1 penalty the whole game till final Rams drive and they get 3 calls to assist drive and get the win. Pretty obvious Vegas was involved!

Agreed but isn’t it funny how they decide to step center stage and control the outcome of a game. Repeatedly..

One of the penalties was offset by a Rams penalty that actually took away their touchdown. The others were legitimate penalties also.

There was no holding on the first penalty. Instead of 4th and goal (long) it’s 1st and goal half the distance. They decided to throw the flag if it wasn’t complete. Game rams

2nd and 7, mid third, sure who cares. 3rd and goal down 4 under 2 minutes? Basically just decide who you want to win because that’s exactly what it is.

It wasn’t even a 50/50 judgement call, it was huge stretch to decide anything happened there

Hey remember when they threw a flag when it was complete in the back of the end zone and took the TD away from the Rams?

Having your arms half extended and touching a player in slow motion is in no way shape or form a penalty. That is every single play in football where there is decent coverage.

He did not redirect, he did not stop him from going anywhere. He was in good position

Receiver stopped on the route, linebacker was in good position, that’s pretty much it.

You might want to rewatch it because your description doesn’t describe what actually happened. The replay is already up on YouTube. You can watch it from multiple angles

Not every single penalty gets seen. Tee Higgins shouldn’t have had a TD on what we all thought was an obvious penalty. The ref wasn’t trying to cheat. He just didn’t see it. Of course penalties happen that don’t get called. That’s a part of every game.
