So, the plan for now is to have Marrone replace Nugent as offensive line coach, per source. TBD at OC and WR coach.

I mean, they have to know who the new OC is right? No way they hire an OC after filling position coaching spots. A new OC is going to want his own guys.

An OC doesn’t usually get to just hire all his staff. It’s usually the head coach making those decisions.

I mean people he's familiar with or knows his scheme. I realize that's mostly a college thing. Allen is a defensive guy. It seems like it might be a good idea to wait and consult with the new OC.

Wasn’t he a great O-Line coach the last time he was here? Seems like a pretty big win.

Good move.

I didn't like the switch they made this year promoting nugent.

The line play was bad bad.

Rooney rule applies to coordinators too. Gotta interview a minority candidate from outside the organization before making a hire.

Is he the reason that Alabama’s o-line wasn’t dominant this season

Marrone is a hell of a coach. Great addition to the staff.

Bama line play dominance was probably more personnel related. I wouldn't put that on Marrone.
