Not like that here in Colorado Springs. Everyone basically said frick masks about 18 months ago.
For real. I got my balls busted about moving from ATX to CO Springs. This place is more God, Guns, Gals and Glory than anything I witnessed in TX in the last 10 years.

Denvers mask mandate stopped Friday, but outside of certain stores it's been flailing anyways.

I fart in the general direction of a mask requirement!

Thanks for the update. I'm going to Durango in 3 months. I haven't expected to deal with mask/vax-passport in the town itself, but it's a pretty hipstery area.
And I know it's unlikely, but I hope that the fedgov rolls back restrictions by then. Would love a mask-free flight. Would also love to have a mask-free experience on the fancy train ride in the area. The train ride may very well be "open air" (depending on which cart I take), but it's under the fedgov travel mandates. I'm not going to take the train ride if I have to wear a mask for ~12 hours.

Just don't wear it. Most people aren't in the mood to chase you down anymore.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Denver area dropped the mask mandate 1-2 weeks ago.
I know you feel like a hero for busting up a liberal city with your anti-mask practices, but Denver has pretty much not given a shite since last summer when the mask mandate was initially removed. From what I've seen stores/venues EVERYWHERE leave the mask signs up just to cover there arse.
All that being said. Cool story bro

Just today the New York Post is reporting that in New York the governor seems set to lift the mask mandate by the end of the month because of the high rate of vaccination, making masking a redundancy. Of course if people want to voluntarily do it, go right ahead.
From the article -
The COVID-19 positivity rate plunged to 4.4 percent as of Thursday, down from a high of 23 percent in early January as the highly contagious Omicron variant invaded New York.
Hospitalizations are down, but there were still 110 COVID-related deaths, an indicator that typically lags the drop in the positivity rate.
Hochul said a key indicator is that more than 95 percent of adult New Yorkers have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine. About 85 percent have received the complete series.
Meanwhile, 80 percent of adolescent ages 12 to 17 have received at least one jab of the vaccine and 69 percent received both doses.
By comparison, 38 percent of kids ages 5 to 11 received one dose, while 29 percent are completely vaccinated.

Yeah...that's it.
Or is it that they are finally realizing that the vaccinations really don't do jack-shite on Omicron.

Y'all keep posting this crap like it matters. Unless they were all done in the last month or 2 it's a moot point.

BTW, I thought CO did away with mask mandates recently. I guess businesses can still require it on their own.

It became a hot place to move way before weed. The early to mid 90's was a huge dump of californicators coming to the area. It didn't stop.

I couldn’t imagine living somewhere that required masks. My kids haven’t worn a mask to public school since a few weeks after the pandemic started. Our restaurants don’t even make waiters and staff wear masks. I guess that’s why we are the fastest growing real estate market in the US.
