As if he is a man of his word!!

Let him go to Miami or LA, they’ll humor him for a season……his exposure has come full circle!!!

If his buyout didn’t have some kind of stipulation as to his not coaching again in the SEC for a period of time, Woody isn’t nearly as smart as he appears to be.

Agree. All that TV crap is staged and scripted. He'd be a good clown that people would tune in to see his next outrageous episode

I believe him. And I respect Ed for it.

(Besides, isn't Saban scheduled to die one day, hopefully soon?)

Personally, I don't see where continuing to bash Ed Orgeron helps in any way. He's gone. His sins have been laid bare. His damage has been done.

Instead of dwelling upon the way it ended, I think I'd rather remember the 2019 season and the joy we all got from that.

In time, if Brian Kelly puts a winner on the field, the animosity towards Orgeron should wane and LSU fans will again view him favorably.

Just my two cents.

Ed Orgeron is a piece of shite. His word means nothing and we should forget he exists.

Nick Saban is the best recruiter in college football history. Orgeron doesn't come close to deserving that honor. Great recruiting isn't getting a handful of big names, it's also evaluating middle-tier 4 and 3 stars and getting those guys on campus. He's awful at roster management and is a star gazer.

He works best like a bloodhound. Have someone else tell him the target and say "go get em" and don't let him focus on anything else.

Whatever happened to the notion when he was fired that he would still be retained in some type of recruiting role???

Well you certainly have NO career at telling stories, it sounded like my 5yr old explaining a trip to the gas station. Is there an end, a joke, a meaning? Stick to pumping gas and not telling stories.

I don't know. Corso can barely speak due to his stroke, but he's still more understandable than O.

It wasn't a recruiting role, it was an agreement to I think 4 separate public appearances on LSU's behalf, likely fundraiser type situations. He also has a bunch of shite in there about saying disparaging things about LSU and non-competes in the Southeast that are pretty aggressive with timeline like 5 years or so.

That's the word at least.

I'm gonna tell a parting story about O and I have gotten to know him a bit the past few years, especially since the mid-life crisis fully manifested. I agree, it is going to be very difficult for him to stay away from the kids very long. Simple solution for him is a volunteer assignment for the time-being but back to the funnyish story that led me to this topic. Anyway, back in late November, O sold the Suburban (Or maybe the ex got it, I dunno...) and bought a brand-fricking new tricked very 6 figure black Mercedes. He stopped at Be-Quik on Perkins for gas one night and I just happened to be pulling up at the same time. Anyway, he must have just been topping off because he locked the gas pump on pump, then went into the store for his everyday slim jim fix. So, I'm pumping my gas and I hear gas spilling all over the place on his side of the pump. Gas was flying out the side of his brand new Merc. So I step around and click it off. Gas all down the side of the car and everywhere on the ground. So I go into the store and tell him wtf he just did. He just shook it off and went about his business, whatever that might be now.

See…..I would have embellished slightly and said:

And you wouldn’t believe what happened after that……I found a 75 dollar bill on the ground after he told me that.
