If that was the only issue at play here, Flores would be hired somewhere else very quickly. Why might you ask? Because he was winning games.

Do not take any of my ramblings as the GM is clean in this. It is ironic that there is a claim of racism when a black coach is fired by a black GM. Makes me laugh.

Do you really think the gm fired him? It was the owner and the gm is just falling in line.

I think his suit is more about his entire time as a coach not just one instance.

Right but you were saying it was a merit based job but the owner was going to pay him to lose, so was it merit based in that instance.

Hue jackson also said this happened to him. Maybe it has happened to other white coaches.

Maybe these black coaches feel like they were only hired and didn't get the support. Who knows.

We will really never know. I don't think it was racism by the dolphins owner i think he just wanted him to do what he said.

Yes they are.. dont you see how hate rears its ugly head when the subject of racism comes up... My only question is, why is white america so afraid of the subject of racism... every time a person of color steps forward, he or she is labeled as a traitor or unamerican by white america but these same white americans dont have a problem with the likes of donald trump or ron desantis or JANUARY 6...

“Flores about to change the game”

MT is not wrong.

Did you read the Flores lawsuit? I mean owners are technically following the Rooney Rule but they are not following it in spirit. I do believe it is a stretch to call it racism but it is most certainly bias and if you are going to make a policy in your company like the Rooney Rule you need to follow it. These owners were exposed as just going through the motions.

The other issue is the Miami owner bribing Flores to tank games. The cuts at the integrity of the NFL brand.

FWIW, after listening to Flores and his record in Miami and what he had to go through under the Miami owner he is not a bad coach by any stretch.

ETA: if I'm Mrs. Benson I would not hire Flores. Too much controversy surrounding him right now.

You unwittingly answered your own question, dumbass. Being afraid has nothing to do with it. Whenever the subject is brought up, it inevitably turns into accusations like the ones you made. You’re a waste of time because you’re not interested in any honest conversation.

But you keep on chasing that boogie man as the world continues to move on without you as always.

This guy thinks there are “people” and then “people of color”.

Basically white people are the standard, for this dude right here. Interesting.

Right, imagine a group of people that was brought to a country and enslaved, then stripped of everything about their homeland. Then having the country go to war over economics that was tied to slavery, only to have the south fight to keep said group enslaved.

Once they are freed, having the government then pay taxes to create laws to prevent from owning anything. Then when they actually build striving communities, whites come in and burn it down.

Then there was Jim Crow laws, where alot of those people (Baby Boomers) are still living today, control alot of Businesses today who still harbor some of the ideas from the Jim Crow era.

But please tell me how sick of hearing, when all you are doing is hearing it, while a sector in society is living it.

What M Thomas and others doesn’t realize is what B Flores is doing is only going to move things in the oppposite direction of what they think.

The reality is, if Flores was white NYG would have cancelled the interview.
They should get rid of the rule then. It’s a stupid rule to begin with.

Literally everything you listed impacted other races in the same way it impacted blacks. You’re not unique. The natives experienced worse including genocide. Still do in some ways.

And yet, every other race having experienced this and worse don’t have the poor literacy rates, poverty rates, single parent home rates, or violent crime rates that blacks have.

This is why all races are tired of the woe is me bullshite.

They don't have any of these problems on the indian reservations? That's rhetorical

Every race has these problems and yes, they are present on reservations. But they’re not hanging around 60% across the board for any single race like they are for blacks.

These are just facts that all too often are ignored.
