Bout to turn it into jerry world. Anyone that give a shite about the cowboys is in the 400 level and can't be heard from. Everyone else is at home because the atmosphere is that of a UT game. Wine and cheese. Not my SEC.

All in all, don't look for the gameday experience to change back for the better, tailgating will still probably get more corporate, and above all more and more people are about to be priced out. Ugh
Hell, I’ve got a living room box right here in my own uhh “living room”. Bathroom 10 steps away, cold beer of MY choosing 5 steps away, on demand instant replay and slow mo at my fingertips as many times as I want, when the game is over, 10 steps from my bed where I can listen to post game shows on the radio until I go night-night. What’s not to love. After 40 years having season tickets, this is why I opted not to renew after COVID season and get my money back for same. Y’all have fun in y’all “Tiger Stadium Living Rooms”.

Everything the survey should be aimed at is pushing corporations out, the survey was just a grand display of furthering cutting out the average fans. Loved their idea of paying for an ‘express exit’ from campus, anything for a buck.

I don't understand want anyone would want to sit in a living room type environment in the stadium
When I want to sit in my living room, I walk out of my bedroom and voila, I'm in my living room.
Don't get me wrong I like sitting in the suites.... Can go sit in the elements or retreat for a beverage during timeouts and halftime. But I certainly don't want to be in and enclosed space in the stadium. To me it dilutes the stadium experience which is the only reason to go to the stadium itself

It's pretty simple. Big Screen TV's, Smart Phones, Busy Lifestyles, Immediate Gratification, Cost Increases, Current Political Environment Of College Athletics and Frankly High Expectations.
If we aren't legitimately competing for a National Championship each year it doesn't mean anything to a lot of fans. Add all those things up and the fact that corporations have bought up a ton of seats/tickets and they simply don't show up enough or stay long enough. The VAST majority of seats open are the 35-35 yd line behind LSU and if they do get full...they are typically the first group out of the stadium.
It really does suck and is discouraging that it has come to this...but as most are saying it is not just LSU.
Don't have an answer to getting that type of atmosphere back unless its a NC year vs. big name.
Geaux Tigers!

Just want Mike on field. That’s it. Kill the piped in music and firecrackers.

This might be the dumbest idea I've read on the subject given the current state of events.
Adding cover from the elements is dumb? Sorry but I don’t enjoy having to re-apply sunscreen multiple times during September and early October games or getting completely drenched when a deluge sets up. People might actually want to sit up in the nosebleeds if they had cover. Until then, enjoy seeing those seats be perpetually empty and going for $5 or free.
ETA: something dumb might be to create a stage somewhere in the stadium for a band or artist to perform during the multitudes of breaks there are. Even with how dumb that is that’s the way the stadium experiences around the country seem to be going and it would be a major hit to be on the cutting edge of it.

A patio/bar area with field views in right field for baseball is much needed.

Yes, I was pretty discouraged by the survey. From the looks and prices of options, I’ll be priced out of the stadium.

It's not dumb because shade is dumb. It's dumb because it's completely impractical from a cost standpoint. And, it ignores the point of this thread...that full stadiums is a thing of the past. All improvements should be in the lower bowl where they try and get more per ticket than they used to.
Sorry. It's dumb.

Not really

With the current way the non-premium fans are treated it will be. That doesn’t mean you ignore everyone but the clubs and suites.

How does it not improve the lower bowl too? You’re going to need new lighting soon anyway and the extra shade won’t just be for the upper decks. Not to mention trapping more noise.

I’ll sit in my living room at home; driving fans away with additional expenses and traffic nightmare.

Many of those renderings look like people who go to events to be seen, not to watch a big game or other. Like those that go to concerts and talk the whole time or are on their phones. We gave up our tickets that had been in the family for over 70 years 6 years ago as I got tired to traveling from out of state and the terrible traffic jams after big games. It's not like LSU isn't getting a significant bump in broadcast revenue in 2024 to $68M per year, yet I understand the target market deep pockets as well. I loved going to big games in Tiger Stadium, but 1080p or 4k on big TVs, any kind of food and drink, not having to travel 2200 miles flying or driving etc will keep me away.

I think you have a very significant percentage of season ticket holders that are hanging on just because they are hesitant to let them go.
The only reason why I still have my tickets is because the same tickets have been in my family's name for 60 years.

The engineering to cover the upper decks would be unfeasible. The structure that could withstand hurricane force winds and still be large enough to do what was intended would cost more than the original decks did to build.

I haven't gotten my survey yet but it sounds like it does not really address how the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium has gone so far down (and this started way before the last 2 bad years) The empty seats in the lower east and west sides are so embarrassing on tv and you don't see this much in other big time program's stadiums. A lot of the seats are empty from the start of the game such as the corporate seats next to me that have set empty for the last 4 years except for 2 games. Also Marketing and Promotion does nothing for game day stadium atmosphere like Auburn, Penn St, Texas A&M, Michigan (for the Washington and Ohio St games) and even lowly South Carolina.

Has the PMAC survey gone out yet?
