As a weekend warrior fisherman, I find these videos fascinating. They are from SmarterEveryDay, an Alabama baw engineer, so they are a bit nerdy. They are also lengthy.

Same here. I’m prior Guard and enjoyed these as well. Brought back some good, well and some bad, memories from performing those drills and actual searches. But mostly good.

We have now been on two cruises where the coast guard had to helicopter in and raise someone in the basket. Fascinating to watch.

I have been the passenger on an unscheduled USCG rescue helicopter ride. What those guys do is amazing
