Bring on the Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams rumors!

It was widely predicted that if Hackett was the hire, a Rodgers trade would be imminent.

Broncos also have the draft picks, but I'm afraid Rodgers is in for a rude awakening if he wants to dive head first into the meat grinder AFC West after playing in the dogshit nfc north his whole career.

If he does go, though, that also opens up the nfc even more for Brady next year, should he come back. It would basically be Tampa and the NFC West and thats it.

Yep. Son of Paul Hackett

NFL: Nepotism Football League

This is why we need a Rooney Rule, but maybe it should be modified to a quota of applicants whose daddies weren't NFL coaches.

I also wonder how much of that is on Lafleur. Hackett is a meh hire in general. He was meh in Jacksonville outside of that afc championship year.

Denver loves getting the last years out of a QB, but I guess it worked last time.

I’m pretty excited about this hire. I’m glad we got away from hiring defensive coaches and Dan Quinn wasn’t hired.

Weren't people saying the same thing about Brady going from the AFC East to the NFC South two years ago? The Broncos roster is loaded. They would win 11 or 12 games easy with a QB like Rodgers.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Rodgers wound up on the Redskins or Eagles next season. Broncos are obvious but does he really want to deal with another top 3 QB in Mahomes and a top 10 guy in Herbert for the last few years of his career?

Go to the Skins and you just have to deal with Dallas. If you can convince Adams to come along, then you’ll have the best receiver duo of your career.

I don't think he wants to deal with that shithole, plus his fiancee is already in Denver.

Yeah, because sons never follow their fathers into the family business.

I mean if you look at all the rosters of teams that will need a QB next season then yes Denver is number one by that standard, but then you look at the big picture: probably the toughest division in football, does he want to go to another cold weather city? Deal with the thin air? Even if he and Davante do go to Denver, they still won’t have the roster that Buffalo and KC have unless they make some serious moves.

And I won’t say the Skins are perfect by any means, because they have probably at least the third worst owner in the NFL, but he and Davante go there, that’s easily a playoff team next season. Snyder is a dumbass but he’s a dumbass who will spend money to surround Rodgers with talent. He’ll probably overspend but still.

Hopefully Supreme Court is about to strike down racial discrimination aka affirmative action.

While this hire is very meh, he did coach an offense that produced a 4000 yard passer with only 4 ints.

That this is getting so many down votes further proves how necessary it is
