I think the left blaming him for everything under the sun reflexively made people like him. If left hates him he must be good!

But I agree with you. He's a classic oligarch at heart with Soviet restoration among his obvious goals. But we have to work with him, in the parameters we've been dealt. A less leftist, less corrupt option like Gorbachev would be preferable but that ain't happening. Putin has basically set himself up for a lifetime appointment.

Sad sack of Americans we have here. If we’re ever drawn into a war with Russia, may the Sedition And Espionage Act be fully implemented to clean up the filthy mold that has come upon this board.

I don't love Putin but, I will say this.

Every word of the sentence I quoted from you is true of 99% of the Democrat party today. So, if it's a horrible trait, it ain't like Putin is our primary problem.
