The only interception Burrow threw today was 100% on Perine. Easy, routine catch that he let slip through.

Allen should have made it over Jackson

Yes there is. Baseball somehow figured that out a long time ago. Its like assigning errors.
If a 3rd baseman throws a bad ball to 1st base, the error is on the 3rd baseman - the QB in your scenario.
If a 3rd baseman throws a perfect ball and the 1st baseman flubs it, the error is on the 1st baseman - the WR in your scenario.

I wish the NFL and NCAA would come up with a new catagory for interceptions: Tipped. How can a QB possibly be tagged for a tipped interception?

I said the same thing yesterday. Tips are different than throwing it directly to the opponent. But, I guess you could argue it wasn’t thrown cleanly into coverage.

He'll be playing in the Super Bowl, so he wouldn't have played in the Pro Bowl anyway.

Exactly.

Burrow would be happy with two more games of 60% passing, 225 yards and no TDs IF HIS TEAM WON THE SUPERBOWL.

They should also add "INT because the receiver ran the wrong route"

The QB can make a poor throw so it isn't exactly like a sacrifice fly

Boy if he got some blocking it is no wonder what he could do! How many times did he get sacked yesterday ? 8

Did Joe show excellence tonight in anything other than taking sacks?

Any qb that can be sacked/hurried/knocked down that many times and still win did some amazing things. Play calling for Joe stunk. He should never have been back in the pocket for that long waiting for the play to eventually evolve. If the OC can't do a better job, then they're done.

Come on!!! Play calling wasn’t the best either. There might have been a couple of check downs missed but Bengal online was outmatched across the line. It would have been helpful to have more of a quick hitting passing game.

All that said Burrow is THE MAN! 9 sacks and he never flinched!! Not many NFL QBs have that kind of grit.

He's making the Super Bowl anyway, so the Pro Bowl is extremely insignificant for him.

I saw a ton of unnecessary sacks and zero touchdowns. Game wouldn’t have been close if he threw the ball away a few times. I’m a huge supporter of Joe but this was not a great showing. His offensive line needs a ton of work but his kicker bailed him out of some bad decisions

Ok so you don’t understand football. Doesn’t mean ur gay or anything.

It's funny, all the talking heads on every post game show were raving about Burrow's game. And, for the most part, they were all former players or head coaches. Point being, these are experts who know what a QB is all about, vs moronic ranters who never played the game.
