Said back channels include Lindsey Graham. Trump is telling Putin that if he invaded Ukraine, no relationship with a future president will be possible.

I remember when Lindsey Graham ran against Alex Sanders for Strom's old seat back in 2002. He was endorsed by Rudy Giuliani and wore it as a bad of honor. Then Alex Sanders replied that didn't mean much to South Carolinians considering Rudy lived with 2 gay men and a shitzu in New York City.

And have the threat of a war in Europe? No way. This is a small minded comment. Putin actually respects Trump, unlike Biden and all the other Dems. May be the only one who can ease things over there. I don’t think this report is true though.

Am I the only one that cautiously wonders if it is a greater strategic play to let Russia expand if it meant more influence with regard to stopping China if called on?
Russia isn't taking over the world. They're also eminently under a greater threat from China as they spread westward.
I know it's messed up to consider letting Russia expand, but it makes at least SOME sense in my mind.
