Was the chase worth the outcome? The new progressive DAs say this is a perfect example of the costs of pursuing a criminal far outweighing the initial crime for which they are being pursued.

I am far from a back the blue boot licker. But if you run from the police on a vehicle (felony) then you assume all responsibility for what happens next.

There is a lot of merit to the idea of no-chase policies, and I actually don't have a problem with no-chase policies.
